when deeply practicing prajna-paramita,$ a6 i; E) v. w$ e4 S$ m
clearly saw that the five skandhas are all empty,+ X  l$ @/ E  Q# f, y
and was saved from all suffering and distress.
4 J2 G% y5 A% O6 ^观自在菩萨
- x0 {8 c. d4 A4 ?行深般若波罗蜜多时
& Y) ~/ @  ]- x2 G照见五蕴皆空度一切苦厄6 p$ u# i, f4 F2 o; o9 ]
Sariputra,7 J- e! p8 }: \: w
form is no different to emptiness,. S3 T! m! I, w3 U, w: g
emptiness no different to form.
% ~  j7 t/ t/ M9 V; M2 O; lThat which is form is emptiness,
3 p; u8 z  Y+ v5 e# }4 {that which is emptiness, form.
5 y/ K5 k; x$ `3 \( ~8 o4 z* Q4 s舍利子
/ @7 o" [* H2 a: [0 o' O/ k! V色不异空空不异色9 Z9 l8 I, h9 A8 o$ H
色即是空空即是色3 h9 Z* I: ]' p( d/ g
Sensations, perceptions, impressions, and consciousness are also like this.
: j* N  K5 B+ ]3 Q受想行识亦复如是- L4 |" K4 e: p
Sariputra,* l/ S+ H+ F& {% L# J, {* Z/ r
all things and phenomena are marked by emptiness;9 A$ y; W) T* A& t: r. z& {
they are neither appearing nor disappearing,
7 ~7 X  F: _2 V5 G% t1 w7 O6 Oneither impure nor pure,
/ {$ D, E3 l; ^3 G3 bneither increasing nor decreasing.! ]8 x4 A; ?2 t% `' ^: e
舍利子
) V# L6 X3 y  z是诸法空相不生不灭" t1 f9 P3 _6 \* F/ z
不垢不净不增不减& K' |$ U# W1 L
Therefore, in emptiness,
2 P, j% b- g: W7 j" `/ X6 L* _1 L; ino forms, no sensations, perceptions, impressions, or consciousness;% ~5 w, _3 e/ k# T# X% J, [! j$ e$ R! S
no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind;( M: m0 y) {, h; c6 \1 \8 L  E
是故空中无色无受想行识( V* H. q' @' k# D$ O
无眼耳鼻舌身意3 X. x( r/ t2 u& A# z. Q$ L
no sights, sounds, odors, tastes, objects of touch, objects of mind;
- X7 f. G5 u, V/ j$ n0 W7 u1 M6 L- _no realm of sight up to no realm of consciousness;
, N1 b! U- o# }! s  |& }无色声香味触法$ M7 t0 Q. E# K8 _5 x& G
无眼界乃至无意识界  r* k' z0 q* y1 s. r' ?2 M4 f
no ignorance and no end of ignorance,/ r$ J6 J- [! Q) L3 G$ y5 @
and no end of aging and death;. ~/ Z& `, M  B: g9 s4 Z
无无明亦无无明尽! [- b( L: Q7 q+ k+ T0 q, U
乃至无老死亦无老死尽: r  X" {" G6 S; Z4 ?9 O
no suffering, accumulation, cessation, or path;9 }9 u0 ~$ c& m; H
no wisdom and no attainment.4 W0 Z/ s! ^/ d  J; u% V
无苦集灭道无智亦无得
2 Z- j, [/ T1 H! @- f1 VWith nothing to attain,
" s: s- E* f5 |  b1 fbodhisattvas
  c- m* m8 {2 }# c$ Q: k# drely on prajna-paramita,+ C& e* _/ E- Y' f; h
and their minds are without hindrance.
7 ]5 [3 g$ `& ^- N以无所得故
: M# C. B& o. }, d; |& N5 W0 `* t菩提萨陲依般若波罗蜜多故, i* ]7 u, Y/ D" d; O4 X
They are without hindrance,# q# t  q& U% E% _' l. J2 I
and thus without fear.+ k6 @% f9 ~9 Z: _* [
心无碍无碍故无有恐怖2 A- ^% T" X# V+ H& K& e
Far apart from all confused dreams,9 b+ }2 V* h/ n: V; [( [
they dwell in nirvana.% S0 q/ U; R5 S
远离颠倒梦想究竟涅盘
* D3 y2 N8 q& M6 h$ JAll buddhas of the past, present and future
/ f" x5 S5 x/ u0 W8 z5 Nrely on prajna-paramita,
7 t4 V4 q3 ~  z( b- }4 `; kand attain anuttara-samyak-sambodhi.
7 o* o/ `$ U/ m% q/ z三世诸佛依般若波罗蜜多故
- S$ |0 O) F( i( }& S" x得阿耨多罗三藐三菩提5 [4 F+ E4 G0 N9 ^
Therefore, know that prajna-paramita/ E; ?: `7 k2 g4 r3 g
is the great transcendent mantra,
: M0 l3 v$ Y' n9 Gthe great bright mantra,+ F( y) }- z) E* \: C3 f  v
the supreme mantra,
+ M7 c: q6 T) i0 J+ v7 \the unequalled balanced mantra,/ _& Q4 E8 }. I
that can eliminate all suffering,
; Z0 R7 x2 ^7 q+ \$ Aand is real, not false.
* n) O7 T7 e7 @故知般若波罗蜜多
: f* |) V0 |% l9 C3 w是大神咒是大明咒是无上咒2 `0 Z0 n$ i  ^- _* c% P
是无等等咒能除一切苦真实不虚
" U$ c- u3 ~6 m$ l( u7 X: k1 F. |So proclaim the prajna-paramita mantra,
, N0 w+ l6 |) }7 Z& F; xproclaim the mantra that says:1 F) z3 W6 \: P& T' D4 a5 s1 I
故说般若波罗蜜多咒
5 f7 L) ]. [9 {; J4 E- A, E即说咒曰
: `- i. Z9 K, jgate, gate,
7 f: N5 J6 B7 K2 Z6 v% r. ~paragate,
2 J9 C$ Y' ]$ @4 n1 Aparasamgate,
8 u6 Y7 y' N' L$ u! lbodhi, svaha!0 k/ V. V, p  Y1 \9 e0 L
揭谛揭谛波罗揭谛5 ~9 O8 d% c" k* Q6 Y* w' d/ D
波罗僧揭谛菩提娑婆诃
