Are young brides in the setting sun; K' @5 o& f1 U6 O) b+ k' ]
Their reflections on the shimmering waves
) h$ f& o/ x4 ]1 dAlways linger in the depth of my heart.

Sways leisurely under the water;

I would be a water plant! * B- `/ v! ]+ W V) p
That pool under the shade of elm trees
+ B& ~8 n$ n& O' pHolds not water but the rainbow from the sky; / |+ I: i% a' q# E" c/ F$ M
Shattered to pieces among the duckweeds

To seek a dream? Just to pole a boat upstream & Z& s$ M- h/ E7 f* H
To where the green grass is more verdant; # a0 N' I, }7 r
Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight + B, |0 k$ k8 p* D: k8 J
And sing aloud in the splendour of starlight. 0 A7 {$ Y2 \& G$ y9 H5 B
But I cannot sing aloud ; [, ]7 d9 |% l% G; {" n
Quietness is my farewell music;
