The floating heart growing in the sludge ) q7 i6 p" J9 S
Sways leisurely under the water; 2 c4 w" M7 ?' i
In the gentle waves of Cambridge 4 P& V5 }4 C: F b% f/ y5 }2 B
I would be a water plant! 6 g3 B+ g5 d1 `: y& y; f
That pool under the shade of elm trees
: R4 N5 J* K2 a" }1 ^Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky;

Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream? & h- c! i& b4 s. D, a4 i
To seek a dream? Just to pole a boat upstream : R/ a5 u n$ [2 x
To where the green grass is more verdant; / g+ i, w! y, G( t3 H; x
Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight

Even summer insects heep silence for me

软泥上的青荇,

我甘心做一条水草 2 k5 \8 e6 h5 l/ z
那榆荫下的一潭,

9 i/ G2 k9 S" E8 s揉碎在浮藻间,
! n* C8 N. V) h沉淀着彩虹似的梦。
2 a1 A6 |+ j+ J( `! B寻梦?撑一支长篙, ; \& _8 K/ x: t8 T4 B
向青草更青处漫溯,
# U; c8 Z" X$ B满载一船星辉,
2 q5 Q1 E2 O8 y( p# }在星辉斑斓里放歌 & ^2 x4 E* u- q# C" `
但我不能放歌,

夏虫也为我沉默,

正如我悄悄的来;
